Motorcycle Touring Spain
Bike-Astur creates holidays on two wheels and more! They give you the choice: traditional Bring Your Own (BYO) Bike Tours, Bring Your Own (BYO) Classic Tours using Brittany Ferries' fast ferry, "Pont Aven" or their unique Fly-Ride Tours, based in the Picos de Europa, using one of their fleet of Royal Enfield Electras.
Bike-Astur have now added Cruise&Ride Tours so you can use your car, which is comfortable and convenient, door to door. All our tours are guided by a resident English guide, who will share his in-depth knowledge of the area, its people and culture with you.
Bring Your Own Bike Tours
Everyone is familiar with the concept of BYO Bike tours, however they have changed the concept somewhat, it is now no longer necessary to carry your luggage every day, because you are based in one 3 star hotel. You get to know the area instead of glimpsing it on the way to somewhere else. Your tour includes ferry tickets with en-suite cabins onboard, guided tours each riding day and an end of tour meal at one of our finest local restaurants.
Fly-Ride Tours
These are ideal for anyone who is new to riding abroad or has a limited time available. You fly into Santander from Stansted, in just 2 hours. There you will be met and taken to your hotel here in Llanes.Your Royal Enfield will be waitng for you in the hotel garage fueled and ready to go.These tours include hotel accommodation on a B&B basis, bike rental and airport transfers to and from Santander. These bikes are ideal for the terrain, being light, manoeuvrable and very economical. Two up in the mountains is a breeze on these torquey singles.
Bring Your Own Classic Tours
Allow you to enjoy riding your own classic bike here in the Picos de Europa, the tours are run on the same lines as our BYOB tours, with all of the same benefits. However Bike-Astur are mindful of your peace of mind, and for that reason our fully equipped workshop is available to you at no extra cost. They do not repair your bike, but allow you to make use of our facilities to make running repairs, should the need arise, in the event you are unable to rectify the problem, They will transport you and your bike back to the ferry terminal at the end of the tour, so you can take the bike home with you instead of waiting several weeks for your insurance company to repatriate your bike.
Cruise & Ride Tours
If you are not happy to fly, or if you have more time available, a Cruise & Ride Tour is just right for you. These tours allow you to bring your own car, plus you cruise down to Spain overnight with your own en-suite cabin.You will be taken on a guided tour each riding day on your Royal Enfield. There will be free days so that you can explore the area on four wheels, not only that should your partner not wish to ride with you, we have a range of other activities to provide interest and relaxation. Why not combine riding with Golf, Fly Fishing or any of the other things listed on our activities page. Remember you are not weight limited as on a flight. So you can take advantage of the amazingly cheap prices for wines etc. to take home with you.
